About & Methodology

What is this site?

An independent guide to hentai streaming sites. We list, test and rank sites so you do not have to open twenty tabs.

How are sites scored?

Five weighted criteria: catalogue depth, player and subtitle quality, ad load, update frequency and billing transparency. Each is scored 1-10 and weighted.

Do sites pay for placement?

No. Placement follows the score. We do earn affiliate commission from some outbound links, disclosed via rel=sponsored on every one.

How often is it updated?

Monthly. Anything not re-checked within 30 days is marked stale rather than silently left up.

Why is so much hentai censored?

Japanese broadcast rules required mosaic censorship for years. Uncensored versions typically come from later home-video releases or overseas licences.
